Role Overview
The Principal Advisor, Partnerships is responsible for leading the facilitation of the Ministry’s relationships and collaboration with communities, agencies, and stakeholders in the region. This role involves influencing and informing the development and implementation of policy and initiatives that support the Ministry's strategic direction.
Your Responsibilities
- Facilitate and lead the Ministry’s partnerships with various communities, agencies, and stakeholders to enhance collaboration and mutual benefits.
- Influence and inform the development and implementation of policies and initiatives that align with the Ministry’s strategic objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key partners to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Contribute to the overall strategy and direction of the Ministry by providing expert advice on partnership matters.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in partnership development, community engagement, and stakeholder management.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and inform policy development and implementation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
- Knowledge of Pacific communities and their needs is advantageous.
