About the Role
As a Physical Therapist with Encompass Health, you'll work with patients recovering from surgery, injury, or illness in a supportive rehabilitation setting. You'll witness meaningful progress as patients rebuild strength, mobility, and confidence under your expert care. This Monday-Friday schedule allows you to balance your professional responsibilities with personal commitments while making a real difference in patients' lives.
What You'll Do
- Evaluate patients' physical conditions and functional limitations to develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver therapeutic interventions including exercises, manual therapy, and functional training
- Monitor and document patient progress throughout their rehabilitation course
- Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, nurses, and other team members to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on exercises and strategies to support recovery at home
- Adapt treatment approaches based on patient response and changing clinical needs
What We're Looking For
- Current Physical Therapist license in Texas
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of rehabilitation best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Compassion for patients and dedication to their recovery goals
