About the Role
As a Pharmacy Customer Service Associate, you'll be the friendly face at the pharmacy counter and register, creating memorable experiences for every customer. What You'll Do
- Operate the pharmacy register with accuracy and efficiency, processing transactions and handling customer payments
- Welcome customers with professionalism and warmth, answering questions and guiding them through their pharmacy visit
- Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision with pharmacy operations, including patient record management and insurance verification
- Access and manage patient information using our pharmacy systems to support accurate prescription fulfillment
- Stock shelves, organize inventory, and maintain a clean, organized pharmacy environment
- Comply with all state and federal pharmacy regulations and Walgreens policies
- Support the team during peak hours and adapt to changing priorities
What We're Looking For
- Current Pharmacy Customer Service Associate Certification or willingness to obtain one
- Strong customer service skills with a genuine commitment to patient care
- Ability to work accurately with numbers and handle cash responsibly
- Familiarity with pharmacy systems or quick ability to learn them
- Reliable, dependable attendance and professional demeanor
- Ability to work full-time hours and collaborate with a diverse pharmacy team
