What This Role Involves
The Payroll Manager at BPM CPA will oversee all payroll-related operations, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. Key responsibilities include managing employee records, processing payrolls accurately and on time, and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
Core Duties
- Manage and process bi-weekly or monthly payrolls for employees
- Evaluate payroll reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax laws
- Update employee records as needed, including changes in benefits and deductions
- Ensure timely submission of required tax filings and payments
- Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll management or a related field
- Proficiency with payroll software such as ADP, Workday, or similar systems
- Familiarity with federal and state tax regulations (FICA, FUTA, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
- Experience in a remote work environment is preferred
