The Opportunity
BPM CPA is seeking a Tax Senior or Supervisor with experience in flow-through taxation to join our dynamic team. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with managers and partners on complex tax matters for partnerships, S corporations, and other pass-through entities. You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing federal and multi-state tax returns, conducting technical tax research, contributing to client recommendations, and supporting planning initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review federal and multi-state tax returns for partnerships, S corporations, and other pass-through entities
- Conduct technical tax research and support planning initiatives for a diverse client base ranging from middle-market businesses to high-net-worth individuals
- Mentor junior staff and ensure engagement deadlines and quality standards are met
- Collaborate with managers and partners to address complex tax matters and contribute to client recommendations
- Assist with special projects and help build strong client relationships while serving as a trusted advisor
Requirements
- Experience in flow-through taxation, including partnerships and S corporations
- Able to prepare and review federal and multi-state tax returns for pass-through entities
- Strong technical tax research skills and the ability to support planning initiatives
- Mentoring junior staff and ensuring engagement deadlines are met
- Collaborative approach with managers and partners on complex tax matters
- Willingness to follow a hybrid schedule if within 45 minutes of a BPM office location
