About the Role

As a Patient Financial Services Representative in our Family Medicine clinic, you'll be the key connection between patients and our billing operations. Working day shifts in our Fort Collins location, you'll handle patient accounts, insurance matters, and revenue cycle tasks that directly impact our clinic's financial health and patient satisfaction.

What You'll Do

  • Process and verify patient insurance information at check-in and throughout their care
  • Explain billing statements, payment plans, and insurance benefits to patients in clear, compassionate language
  • Collect copayments, coinsurance, and patient balances due
  • Manage patient account records and update demographic and insurance details
  • Follow up on outstanding balances and coordinate payment arrangements
  • Respond to patient billing inquiries and resolve account discrepancies
  • Support revenue cycle compliance and documentation requirements
  • Coordinate with insurance companies regarding claims and coverage questions

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in patient financial services, medical billing, or healthcare revenue cycle
  • Knowledge of insurance verification, eligibility, and claims processes
  • Strong communication and customer service skills—you explain complex billing topics simply
  • Accuracy and attention to detail when handling patient account information
  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy family medicine clinic environment
