Across 36 hours of night-shift work each week, you help maintain stability, comfort, and continuity of care for individuals who require close observation as they progress beyond intensive treatment. Key Responsibilities

• Obtain and document vital signs, intake-output totals, and other routine measurements for surgical step-down patients
• Assist patients with mobility, positioning, personal hygiene, and activities of daily living while promoting safety and dignity
• Support specimen collection, equipment setup, and basic unit readiness under nursing direction
• Observe and promptly report changes in patient condition to the clinical team
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and orderly care area throughout the night shift
• Respond to call lights and provide timely comfort measures for individuals on the surgical step-down pathway

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent and the ability to perform essential patient-care tasks
• Current BLS certification and competence with standard vital-sign and monitoring equipment
• Prior exposure to acute-care, medical-surgical, or step-down environments preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and readiness to work consistent night hours totaling 36 per week
