Hackensack Meridian Health is hiring a part-time, night-shift Patient Care Technician to support our Critical Care team at our Ocean facility in Point Pleasant Boro, Ocean County. About the Role

As a Patient Care Technician in Critical Care at Hackensack Meridian Health, you will work alongside registered nurses and physicians to deliver attentive, safe, and patient-centered support to acutely ill individuals. This position is scheduled for part-time night shifts in Point Pleasant Boro, Ocean County, and includes benefits.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff with direct patient care activities for critically ill patients
• Monitor and record vital signs, intake and output, and other clinical observations
• Support patients with personal hygiene, mobility, comfort, and daily living needs
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe care environment during night shifts
• Communicate patient status changes promptly to the nursing team
• Contribute to a culture of collaboration, respect, and teamwork at the bedside

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in providing compassionate, hands-on patient care in a Critical Care environment
• Ability to work part-time night hours and adapt to a fast-paced clinical setting
• Strong communication skills and a dependable, team-oriented approach
• Commitment to patient safety, dignity, and quality care standards
• Comfort performing the physical demands of bedside care, including standing, lifting, and assisting patients
