About the Role
This is a part-time oral surgeon role performing 1–2 cases per month. You'll work in a fully equipped surgical facility alongside our dedicated pediatric dental and anesthesia teams, providing specialized surgical services to children and patients with complex medical or behavioral needs. Your expertise will directly impact families seeking restorative and surgical dental solutions in a compassionate, patient-centered environment.
What You'll Do
- Perform surgical extractions, dental implant procedures, and restorative oral surgery cases for pediatric and special needs patients
- Conduct comprehensive surgical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with pediatric dentists, anesthesiologists, and surgical nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Manage pre-operative and post-operative patient care with attention to the unique needs of medically complex and pediatric populations
- Maintain surgical records and adhere to all facility and regulatory standards
What We're Looking For
- Active DDS or DMD with a completed OMFS residency (specialty board certification or board eligibility required)
- Current Florida dental and surgical licenses in good standing
- Demonstrated experience treating pediatric or special needs patients
- Comfort working in an ambulatory surgery center setting with advanced anesthesia support
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to family-centered care
