Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk

The Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a Full-Time Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk for its store in Rincon, Effingham County. In this role you will help customers receive their online grocery orders accurately and promptly while delivering friendly service at the curb.

About the Role

As part of the store’s e‑commerce team, you will work in a fast‑paced environment that blends inventory handling with direct customer interaction. Your efforts ensure that shoppers who choose to order groceries online enjoy a seamless pickup experience from the moment their order is assembled to when it is loaded into their vehicle.

What You'll Do

• Select and gather items for online orders, checking for freshness, quality, and correct quantities.
• Assemble each customer’s order in the designated picking area, following store standards for accuracy.
• Process applicable coupons, promotions, and payments according to company procedures.
• Stage completed orders for pickup and load them into customers’ vehicles when they arrive.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including carts, totes, and refrigerated sections.
• Address customer inquiries with a courteous attitude, resolving any issues that arise during the pickup process.
• Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and food‑handling guidelines while performing duties.

What We're Looking For

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow picking lists precisely.
• Good communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
• Capability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and move quickly throughout the store.
• Basic math proficiency for handling coupons and processing payments.
• Reliability and punctuality with a willingness to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Previous experience in retail, grocery, or a fulfillment role is a plus but not required.
