Position Summary

• Provide professional on-site interpreting services for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing in various settings, including medical, legal, and educational environments.
• Collaborate with clients and other professionals to ensure effective communication and understanding.
• Adhere to strict confidentiality and ethical standards when handling sensitive information.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and timely interpretation services to ensure seamless communication between individuals and organizations.
• Attend and participate in meetings, court proceedings, and other events as needed.
• Assist in the preparation of documents and materials to support effective communication.
• Stay current with relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices.

Skills & Qualifications

• Native-level fluency in both English and a sign language.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in interpreting.
• Proficiency in using technology for real-time interpreting and document preparation.
• Experience in on-site interpreting or a related field preferred.
