Kaiser Permanente – Southern California Permanente Medical Group seeks an experienced Obstetrician/Gynecologist to deliver comprehensive women's health care in Bakersfield, California. This is a full-time clinical position within an integrated healthcare system serving the Kern County region.
About the Role
You'll provide direct patient care across obstetric and gynecological services in our modern facility at Discovery Plaza MOB. As an OB/GYN physician in our Bakersfield practice, you'll work within an established medical group committed to evidence-based medicine, patient safety, and clinical excellence in women's reproductive health.
What You'll Do
- Deliver comprehensive obstetric care including prenatal evaluation, labor management, delivery, and postpartum follow-up
- Perform gynecological examinations, procedures, and surgical interventions
- Develop individualized treatment plans addressing patients' reproductive health needs across all specialties
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary clinical teams to coordinate care and achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice standards
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and comply with regulatory and licensing requirements
What We're Looking For
- MD or DO with board certification or board eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Valid California medical license
- Commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based obstetric and gynecologic care
- Excellent communication and collaborative clinical skills
- Ability to work effectively within an integrated team-based healthcare model
Compensation
Salary range: $439,175–$541,575 annually, with potential premium earnings available. Compensation is based on qualifications, experience, board certifications, longevity, and geographic considerations.
