About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Grill Cook to join our Glendale team at HuHot Mongolian Grill. This is a full-time position offering the flexibility to work up to 40 hours across just four days, giving you a genuine work-life balance while maintaining steady employment and full-time benefits. What You'll Do
- Prepare and cook high-quality grilled dishes on our Mongolian griddle, following established recipes and cooking techniques
- Maintain proper food handling, sanitation, and safety standards throughout your shift
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure timely preparation and consistent food quality
- Manage multiple orders during peak service times while maintaining attention to detail
- Ensure proper station setup, equipment maintenance, and cleanliness
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Grill Cook or in a similar kitchen role
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Reliability and strong attendance, particularly for weekend shifts
- Weekend availability required—we need your skill during our busiest Friday, Saturday, and Sunday service periods
- A collaborative attitude and willingness to contribute to a positive kitchen culture
Scheduling & Compensation
This full-time Grill Cook position offers flexible scheduling with the option to complete your 40-hour weekly commitment in just four days. Weekend availability, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts, is essential—though we work with you to balance schedule needs. Compensation ranges from $18 to $20 per hour, based on your experience and skill level.
