About the Role

This program combines direct clinical experience with formal didactic sessions, case study reviews, and peer learning to ensure you develop both technical competency and the judgment required in acute care nursing.
What You'll Do
- Deliver direct patient care under preceptor guidance in assigned clinical units
- Apply clinical skills including patient assessment, medication administration, vital sign monitoring, and wound care
- Develop critical thinking through structured case discussions and clinical decision-making exercises
- Participate in residency cohort sessions covering nursing fundamentals, communication, and professional development
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient outcomes
- Progress through clearly defined competency milestones over the 12-month program
What We're Looking For
- Current RN licensure in South Carolina
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (BSN or ADN)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
