About the Role

As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you'll play a key role in our accounting operations, processing payments, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial records. What You'll Do

  • Process and verify vendor invoices for accuracy and proper documentation
  • Prepare checks and coordinate payment submissions to vendors and contractors
  • Maintain and reconcile accounts payable records and subledgers
  • Resolve discrepancies between purchase orders, invoices, and receiving reports
  • Track payment schedules and manage aging reports
  • Record transactions in the accounting system with attention to detail
  • Communicate with vendors to address questions, discrepancies, and payment terms
  • Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
  • Assist with general accounting tasks as needed

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent; accounting coursework or certification preferred
  • Experience with accounts payable functions and invoice processing
  • Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to handle confidential financial information with integrity
  • Professional communication skills and ability to work with vendors and internal teams
