What This Role Involves

As a 2nd Shift Loader Operator at The H&K Group, you'll be the backbone of our material handling operations. Operating specialized loader equipment, you'll move, position, and manage materials throughout our Doylestown facility with precision and care. This evening shift position is vital to our production workflow, requiring you to maintain strict safety standards, demonstrate equipment proficiency, and work collaboratively with colleagues to meet operational targets.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Operate loader equipment to load, unload, and transfer materials between production areas, storage, and shipping zones
• Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections, identify mechanical issues, and report maintenance needs to supervisors
• Adhere strictly to all facility safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment throughout your shift
• Maintain detailed records of materials processed, equipment hours, and shift activities as required
• Coordinate loading operations with team members and supervisors to optimize workflow and meet production schedules
• Ensure work areas remain clean, organized, and free of hazards to maintain a safe operating environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Availability to work 2nd shift (evening) hours consistently
• Physical capability to perform material handling work, including standing, reaching, and lifting for extended periods
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and ability to follow procedures without exception
• Willingness to pass pre-employment drug testing
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification is highly valued
