About the Role
This is a comprehensive training opportunity within an accredited OR Surgery residency program. What You'll Do
- Circulate surgical cases, managing the sterile field and coordinating with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and operational efficiency
- Respond to intraoperative needs, including equipment setup, specimen management, and communication between surgical staff
- Monitor patient comfort, safety, and positioning throughout procedures
- Document operative events and maintain accurate surgical records
- Collaborate with scrub nurses, surgeons, anesthesia staff, and surgical technicians
- Progress through structured competency modules with ongoing evaluations and feedback
What We're Looking For
- Current RN licensure in Missouri or eligibility to obtain a Missouri nursing license
- New graduate or early-career nurse with limited OR experience
- Strong commitment to patient advocacy and surgical excellence
- Ability to function in a fast-paced, high-acuity surgical environment
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Willingness to learn and develop in a structured training environment
