About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Kaea Mātauranga | Museum Education Coordinator to join our team at Rotorua Museum Te Whare Taonga o Te Arawa. As part of this role, you will be responsible for planning, promoting, delivering, and evaluating educational programs that engage visitors with the rich cultural heritage and stories of Rotorua.
What You'll Do
- Develop and implement educational programs tailored to diverse audiences, including schools, community groups, and families.
- Create engaging and interactive learning experiences that align with curriculum standards and cultural values.
- Collaborate with educators, community partners, and other stakeholders to ensure the relevance and effectiveness of educational initiatives.

Requirements
- A relevant tertiary qualification in education, museum studies, or a related field.

- Knowledge of Māori culture and protocols is highly desirable.
