Beijing Aidi School is recruiting a Full-Time Middle School ESL Teacher for Gresham, Multnomah County. You'll shape the English language skills and academic futures of junior high learners in a collaborative, student-centered school environment.

About the Role

In this role, you'll serve as a dedicated English language educator for middle school students, building their proficiency, confidence, and communication skills. You'll work as part of a supportive teaching team, ensuring your students reach grade-level language benchmarks and maintain academic momentum.

What You'll Do

• Craft instructional plans for daily classroom lessons tailored to ESL learner needs and curriculum goals
• Select and apply pedagogically sound teaching techniques aligned with how students best acquire English as a second language
• Partner with fellow educators to ensure coordinated, coherent instruction across the grade level
• Track student advancement in language skills and adapt your methods to support individual growth
• Create a classroom where students are encouraged to engage, take linguistic risks, and develop authentic communication ability

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Education or equivalent professional preparation; specialized training in English Language Teaching is advantageous
• Track record of successful English instruction with middle or junior high learners
• Expertise in ESL teaching methodologies and research-informed practices
• Excellent English language command and communication ability to model for students
• Team-focused mindset and comfort working across faculty and diverse student groups
