About the Role
Merrill Wealth Management is among the world's premier providers of comprehensive wealth planning and investment services. We partner with individuals, families, and businesses to create tailored strategies that address retirement planning, education funding, legacy building, and other significant life objectives. As a Financial Solutions Advisor serving the Chicago metro market, you'll be at the center of these client relationships, translating complex financial concepts into actionable plans and helping people achieve their most meaningful goals.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their financial situations, objectives, and life circumstances
- Create personalized financial strategies and investment recommendations aligned with each client's goals and risk tolerance
- Manage investment portfolios and provide ongoing portfolio reviews and adjustments
- Educate clients on wealth management solutions, investment options, and financial planning concepts
- Identify opportunities to expand relationships and deepen client engagement within your territory
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and Bank of America policies
- Document client interactions and maintain accurate records in our systems
What We're Looking For
- Securities licenses such as Series 7, Series 65, or equivalent (or ability to obtain)
- Proven experience in financial services, wealth management, or related advisory roles
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
- Demonstrated ability to explain financial concepts clearly to diverse clients
- Sales mindset with a genuine focus on client success
- Commitment to learning and staying current with financial markets and investment strategies
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
