Project Manager-CCS

Tallgrass is seeking an experienced Project Manager-CCS to drive the engineering and execution of Carbon Capture and Sequestration initiatives from our Houston, Harris County office. This full-time, on-site role places you at the center of one of the energy sector's most consequential efforts to decarbonize industrial operations.

About the Role

As Project Manager-CCS at Tallgrass, you will lead the technical development and end-to-end delivery of Carbon Capture and Sequestration (CCS) projects. The position blends hands-on engineering judgment with disciplined project management, requiring you to translate defined business commitments into executable plans while keeping commercial and operational stakeholders aligned throughout every project phase.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide the engineering and technical development of CCS projects from concept through completion.
• Oversee project execution, managing scope, schedule, and deliverables to meet defined business commitments.
• Apply core engineering analysis to assess feasibility and shape sound project decisions.
• Partner with Tallgrass commercial and operational teams to advance business development objectives.
• Coordinate cross-functional communication to keep all groups informed and moving toward shared goals.

Qualifications

• Engineering background with the ability to apply fundamental analysis to project challenges.
• Demonstrated experience in project management and project execution, ideally within energy or infrastructure settings.
• Familiarity with Carbon Capture and Sequestration concepts or a strong aptitude to develop expertise in the field.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for working across commercial and operational groups.
• Willingness to work full-time and on-site in Houston, Harris County.
