We’re hiring a Marketing & Growth Lead for Cheez, an early‑stage consumer social app based in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County.

In this full‑time, onsite role you’ll partner directly with the founder to turn creative ideas into measurable user growth while building the brand presence that drives lasting engagement.

About the Role

As the Marketing & Growth Lead you will own the end‑to‑end growth funnel, blending data analysis with storytelling to attract new users, deepen activation, and keep the community coming back for more.

What You’ll Do

• Design and launch data‑driven acquisition campaigns across paid, earned, and owned channels to hit monthly user targets.
• Monitor key performance indicators, run A/B tests, and iterate quickly based on real‑time analytics.
• Work closely with the CEO to craft compelling content—copy, visuals, and video—that resonates with the target audience and encourages sharing.
• Coordinate cross‑functional efforts with product, design, and engineering to align go‑to‑market tactics with feature releases.
• Build and nurture relationships with influencers, creators, and community partners to amplify reach organically.
• Report weekly on growth metrics, insights, and recommendations to the leadership team.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience driving user acquisition and growth for consumer‑focused apps or digital products.
• Strong analytical mindset; comfortable with SQL, Excel, or similar tools to extract actionable insights.
• Creative thinker who can develop engaging copy and visual concepts that stand out in crowded feeds.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with founders and cross‑functional teams.
• Familiarity with social media platforms, advertising ecosystems (Meta, Google, TikTok), and emerging growth tactics.
• Self‑starter attitude with a bias for action and a passion for building communities.
