The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Vessel Engineer to join our team at Rottnest Express, part of the Journey Beyond Group. As a MED 1, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our marine vessels, contributing to the delivery of exceptional ferry services and adventure tours.
Core Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on marine vessels to ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and vessel operations.
- Work closely with the engineering team to resolve any technical issues that arise during operations.
- Ensure adherence to environmental regulations and best practices in vessel operation.
Who We're Looking For
