About This Position
ERM is seeking a Managing Technical Consultant, Health and Safety to join our growing Safety and Risk team. As a trusted health and safety consultant, you will thrive on solving complex challenges, influencing organizational culture, and helping clients achieve meaningful improvements in safety performance across complex, high-hazard environments.
What You'll Do
- Influence the development of safety strategies and policies for our clients
- Lead technical assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend solutions
- Develop and deliver training programs on health and safety best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior consultants
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Technical Consultant, Health and Safety in the consulting industry
- A strong background in health and safety regulations and standards (OSHA, ISO 45001, etc.)
- Experience leading large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A track record of delivering high-quality work under pressure
- A degree in Health and Safety or a related field is required
