The Opportunity

Nestle is seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Safety Technician to join our team in Batavia. As a key member of the quality assurance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all food products meet the highest standards of safety and compliance.

Your Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of production lines for adherence to food safety protocols
• Perform routine testing of raw materials and finished products to ensure quality and safety
• Document findings and maintain accurate records of all inspection activities
• Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement food safety initiatives and improve processes

What You Bring

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the food industry
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, including HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) principles
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform accurate documentation
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety
