Field Food Safety & Quality Manager

Schreiber Foods is hiring a Field Food Safety & Quality Manager to lead food safety and quality excellence across our Green Bay, Brown County operations. This full-time position reports directly to plant leadership and shapes how we deliver on our commitment to safe, high-quality dairy products.

What This Role Involves

You will oversee food safety and quality outcomes at assigned Schreiber production facilities, working at the intersection of enterprise-level standards and day-to-day plant operations. This leadership role requires you to communicate clearly between our Quality and Food Safety teams, plant management, operational partners, and customer expectations—translating policy into action and results into continuous improvement. You'll own accountability for compliance, process integrity, and the culture of quality that defines our operations.

Responsibilities

• Drive food safety and quality performance across assigned domestic Schreiber facilities
• Establish and maintain food safety systems, audits, and compliance documentation
• Lead quality initiatives and coordinate with plant operations to implement standards
• Interface between Enterprise Quality and Food Safety leadership and facility-level teams
• Collaborate with internal support functions and external partners on regulatory and quality matters
• Engage directly with key customers on quality assurance and food safety topics
• Monitor metrics, identify gaps, and drive corrective and preventive actions
• Support plant leadership with training and resource planning to sustain quality culture

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in food safety, quality assurance, or related regulatory compliance roles
• Strong knowledge of food safety systems such as HACCP, SQF, FSMA, or equivalent frameworks
• Leadership experience managing cross-functional teams or stakeholder relationships
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to interpret and apply FDA regulations and industry best practices
• Proficiency with quality management systems and documentation tools
• Willingness to travel to assigned facilities as needed
