What This Role Involves
The role of Managing Director, US Market Access involves leading a team to drive strategic market access initiatives for Avalere Health's clients in the United States. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive market access strategies that align with client objectives while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
What You'll Do
- Develop and implement market access strategies to support client business goals and patient outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, payers, and government agencies.
- Lead cross-functional teams in the development of pricing, reimbursement, and value-based contracting solutions.
- Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure strategic alignment for clients.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in market access, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated success in driving market access strategies that have resulted in improved patient outcomes and financial performance for clients.
- Strong leadership skills, including the ability to mentor and develop team members.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience working with healthcare providers, payers, and government agencies.
