Director, Market Access Marketing

Sarepta Therapeutics is hiring a Director, Market Access Marketing in Cambridge, Middlesex County. This full-time leadership position is central to driving market strategy for transformative genetic therapies that improve outcomes for patients with rare and serious diseases.

About the Role

You'll lead market access strategy across Sarepta's pipeline of genetic therapies, working at the intersection of clinical value, healthcare economics, and real-world access. This role shapes how breakthrough treatments reach patients by managing payer negotiations, reimbursement pathways, health policy relationships, and commercial positioning.

What You'll Do

• Design and execute market access strategies aligned with regulatory milestones, commercial timelines, and reimbursement requirements
• Lead cross-functional teams—clinical, regulatory, commercial, patient affairs—to build market conditions supporting successful therapy launches
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with major payers, health systems, patient advocacy organizations, and policy stakeholders
• Develop health economics models and evidence-based value propositions demonstrating clinical and financial benefit
• Navigate Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance reimbursement landscapes for specialty and gene therapies
• Monitor competitive positioning and market dynamics in rare disease and genetic medicine segments
• Oversee budget planning and track program impact against commercial and access objectives

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years in market access, managed care, reimbursement, or health economics within biopharmaceutical companies
• Proven success launching specialty, orphan, or gene therapies—particularly in rare disease or neurological areas
• Deep expertise in payer strategy, health plan dynamics, and Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement
• Strong quantitative and health economics modeling capabilities
• Excellent cross-functional leadership and stakeholder influence skills
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA, MHA, or health policy degree preferred
