Core Duties

• Direct remote staff responsible for reviewing, validating, and advancing student loan applications through the origination pipeline
• Track pipeline volume, cycle times, and quality indicators to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions
• Coach team members on proper documentation, eligibility verification, and regulatory checkpoints
• Partner with compliance, underwriting, and technology groups to maintain seamless handoffs and reduce rework
• Establish and update standard operating procedures that raise consistency across remote origination activities
• Deliver regular status summaries and improvement recommendations to leadership
• Foster an accountable remote culture that emphasizes clear communication and continuous skill development

Requirements

• Demonstrated success leading operational teams within lending, financial services, or similar high-volume processing settings
• Solid grasp of student loan origination flows, documentation standards, and applicable consumer regulations
• Ability to manage, motivate, and develop remote employees across multiple locations
• Comfort analyzing performance data and translating findings into practical process changes
• Clear written and verbal communication skills suited to both team coaching and cross-department coordination
• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline or equivalent practical experience preferred
