Role Overview

As a Maintenance Mechanic (Electrician) with Prestage in Camden, you'll be the technical expert our operations depend on. Your role combines hands-on electrical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and equipment repair to keep our facility running safely and efficiently. You'll work independently and collaboratively, applying your electrical expertise to diagnose problems quickly and implement lasting solutions.

What You'll Do

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on electrical systems, equipment, and machinery
• Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and identify root causes using diagnostic tools and testing equipment
• Repair or replace damaged electrical components, wiring, and controls to restore full operation
• Install new electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures according to safety codes and company standards
• Document all maintenance work, repairs, and preventive maintenance activities in company records
• Comply with all safety regulations, including OSHA standards and lockout/tagout procedures
• Respond to emergency electrical issues and work to minimize downtime

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Mechanic, Electrician, or similar electrical maintenance role
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuitry, wiring, and equipment operation
• Proficiency with electrical testing and diagnostic tools
• Ability to read electrical blueprints and schematics
• Physical capability to perform hands-on work in varied environments
