Manpower is recruiting an experienced Maintenance Automation Technician for our client in Necedah, Juneau County, Wisconsin. This is a full-time, direct-hire position offering competitive pay, paid training, and a stable Monday through Friday, 2pm–10pm schedule in a clean and safe work environment.
About the Role
As a Maintenance Automation Technician, you'll support manufacturing and production operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing automation systems and equipment. Working under the guidance of the Maintenance Manager, you'll ensure equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and help keep operations running smoothly. This is an on-site role—no remote work.
What You'll Do
- Inspect, test, and diagnose automation equipment and control systems
- Perform preventive maintenance to reduce equipment failures and extend asset life
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues affecting automated processes
- Replace components, make repairs, and document all maintenance activities
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager and production team to meet uptime goals
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience maintaining automation systems, PLCs, motors, or industrial equipment
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting capabilities
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance manuals
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented work habits
- Willingness to work the 2pm–10pm shift, Monday through Friday
