LGI Homes is hiring a full-time Construction Manager to lead residential building projects in Tierra Buena, Sutter County. In this role, you'll oversee homebuilding from foundation through final delivery, manage teams and budgets, and ensure every home meets our quality standards while staying on schedule in the Yuba City area.
About the Role
As Construction Manager, you'll direct all stages of residential construction, coordinating subcontractors and field teams while maintaining the craftsmanship and timelines that matter to our homeowners. You'll balance multiple priorities: controlling project costs, meeting delivery dates, maintaining quality standards, and keeping customer satisfaction high. This is a hands-on leadership position where your decisions directly impact project success.
What You'll Do
- Manage all construction phases from groundbreaking through closing and final walkthrough
- Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, tradespeople, and on-site construction teams
- Monitor schedules and sequences to ensure timely project delivery
- Track and control project budgets to maintain cost targets
- Conduct quality inspections and address construction issues promptly
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company standards
- Communicate effectively with buyers, internal teams, and trade partners
