LPN/RN Pediatric Home Health Nurse – Nights

Phoenix Home Care and Hospice is hiring an LPN/RN Pediatric Home Health Nurse for our night shift operations in McPherson, Kansas. Join our team and deliver compassionate, skilled nursing care to pediatric patients in their homes during evening and overnight hours.

What This Role Involves

As a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse specializing in pediatric home health, you'll provide direct nursing care to children and infants in home settings during night shifts. This role combines clinical expertise with family-centered care, requiring you to work independently while maintaining close communication with the care team and family members.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and provide skilled nursing interventions for pediatric patients
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, manage IV therapies, and maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Support patients with medical equipment operation, wound care, respiratory support, and other therapeutic needs
• Educate families on patient care, medication management, and equipment use
• Maintain communication with physicians, care coordinators, and interdisciplinary team members
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and dignity throughout all nursing care activities

What We're Looking For

• Current LPN or RN license in good standing in Kansas
• Experience in pediatric nursing, home health, or acute care settings
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt to diverse home environments
• Excellent communication with patients, families, and healthcare providers
• Reliability and flexibility for night shift hours
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
