About the Role
As an LPN at Bear Creek Senior Living in the Colorado Springs area, you'll work the 2 PM–10 PM shift, providing direct nursing care to our senior community. This full-time position lets you use your clinical skills and empathy to enhance the daily lives of residents who deserve thoughtful, attentive care.
What You'll Do
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and personal hygiene
- Support medication administration under RN supervision
- Perform basic wound care and apply dressings
- Maintain accurate, timely medical records and documentation
- Respond promptly to resident requests and concerns
- Collaborate with nursing staff to deliver coordinated, person-centered care
- Follow infection control and safety protocols
What We're Looking For
- Current, valid LPN license in Colorado (or ability to obtain licensure)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Experience or demonstrated interest in geriatric or senior care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a nursing team
- Compassion for seniors and commitment to resident dignity
- Reliable attendance and professional work ethic
