What You'll Do
- Prepare legal documents, motions, briefs, and court filings for complex federal litigation
- Conduct extensive legal research on criminal statutes, asset forfeiture law, and federal prosecution standards
- Organize and maintain detailed case files, evidence logs, and trial exhibits
- Support discovery processes and witness preparation for federal trials
- Assist federal attorneys on cases targeting organized crime and criminal enterprises
- Manage timelines and compliance for multi-party federal litigation
- Coordinate with federal agencies on prosecutorial support and clearance-related matters
What We're Looking For
- Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance, or eligibility for federal clearance
- Three or more years of litigation paralegal or legal assistant experience
- Strong knowledge of federal criminal law and asset forfeiture procedures
- Proficiency with legal research platforms and case management systems
- Superior writing and communication abilities
- Capacity to manage complex cases with strict deadlines
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
