About the Role
As our Lighting Designer, you'll manage all aspects of lighting technology across Faith Church's facilities. This hands-on position combines creative design with technical expertise, ensuring our worship spaces, event venues, and broadcast environments feature professional-grade lighting solutions that enhance every experience.
What You'll Do
- Design and program lighting systems tailored to the unique needs of each campus facility
- Install, configure, and maintain lighting equipment and control systems across all locations
- Oversee broadcast lighting operations to ensure professional video and stream quality
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on lighting infrastructure
- Plan and execute lighting system upgrades and technology improvements
- Collaborate with A/V, worship, and events teams to achieve desired lighting effects and aesthetics
- Document systems, procedures, and technical specifications
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in lighting design and operation for worship, event, or broadcast environments
- Technical proficiency with lighting control software and hardware (console operation and programming)
- Knowledge of lighting equipment, LED technology, and A/V system integration
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage projects across multiple locations
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certification or formal training preferred
