About the Role

As the Joint Effects Division (JED) Manager 1 at Serco, you will play a central part in delivering the Mission Command Training Program, which prepares Army Corps, Divisions, and Brigades to operate effectively within the Army Mission Command System and the Operations Process. Working on-site in Eagle River, Anchorage, you will help orchestrate integrated, simulation-driven training exercises that replicate real operational conditions for senior Army staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage Joint Effects Division activities in direct support of MCTP training events.
  • Help plan and execute integrated simulation exercises for Army Corps, Division, and Brigade-level units.
  • Support the application of the Army Mission Command System and the Operations Process throughout training scenarios.
  • Collaborate with training teams, role-players, and military stakeholders to ensure realistic and effective exercise outcomes.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of training products, processes, and division-level effects integration.

Qualifications

  • Background and experience relevant to US Army operations, joint effects, or mission command training.
  • Familiarity with the Army Mission Command System and the Operations Process.
  • Experience supporting or participating in simulation-based or integrated military training exercises.
  • Strong organizational, coordination, and communication skills suited to a collaborative, mission-driven environment.
  • Ability to work on-site full-time in Eagle River, Anchorage (this role is not remote).
