Your Responsibilities
- Guide the creation and refinement of complex PWB layouts that satisfy electrical, mechanical, and thermal constraints
- Direct electronic design activities from initial concept through detailed documentation and manufacturing handoff
- Partner with circuit design, mechanical, and manufacturing colleagues to align schematic capture, component placement, and routing strategies
- Apply design rules, manufacturing guidelines, and quality standards throughout every layout revision
- Perform layout reviews, signal-integrity checks, and troubleshooting of potential issues before release
- Mentor junior layout and design staff while establishing consistent practices for the team
- Coordinate with suppliers and producers to resolve fabrication or assembly questions efficiently
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a closely related technical discipline
- Proven background leading PWB layout and electronic design work for multi-layer boards
- Hands-on familiarity with industry CAD platforms used for schematic entry and board layout
- Working knowledge of signal integrity, power distribution, EMI/EMC considerations, and thermal management
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects, set priorities, and communicate clearly across disciplines
- Commitment to full-time on-site presence supporting activities at the 2 Locations site
