About This Position
Cgsfederal is seeking an experienced Law Clerk to provide assistance in all phases of litigation for a large federal agency office. This position involves assisting with opioid cases and other high-profile litigation tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with all phases of litigation, including opioid cases and other high-profile cases litigated by this office.
- Assist with trial prep, litigation tasks, and other assigned duties as directed by attorneys.
- Review and analyze documents, transcripts, files, and other materials to locate information and evidence relevant to investigative actions.
- Use electronic databases for litigation support tasks, including reviewing, organizing, indexing, tagging, and summarizing documents, files, and other materials. <li-Conduct database searches for documents and information. <li-Troubleshoot technical issues with review platforms and tools. <li-Apply redactions to documents of all types, including audio files. <li-Draft review memos and other litigation documents as required by attorneys. <li-Communicate directly with case teams regarding ongoing litigation.

- Proficiency in reviewing, organizing, indexing, tagging, and summarizing documents, files, and other materials using electronic databases.
- Technical skills for database searches, troubleshooting review platforms and tools, and applying redactions to various document types.
- Ability to draft review memos and other litigation documents as required by attorneys.
- Effective communication with case teams regarding ongoing litigation.
