The Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Attendance Clerk to join our team at Huffines MS in Lewisville ISD. This full-time position will begin on August 3, 2026, with an initial starting salary of $17.25 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely recording of student attendance
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding attendance issues
• Assist in the development and implementation of attendance policies
• Maintain confidentiality and privacy of student records
• Collaborate with school staff to support a positive learning environment

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
• Prior experience in education or a related field is preferred but not required
• A valid Texas Driver’s License may be necessary for occasional travel to other school sites (if applicable)
