About This Position

You'll manage the day-to-day operation of our Cabler/Strander and Rework Line equipment, the core technology behind the fiber optic cables that connect our world. This role blends equipment expertise, process discipline, and quality consciousness—reporting to production leadership and working as part of a skilled manufacturing team. You'll be responsible for translating production schedules and setup documentation into consistent, high-quality output, every shift.

What You'll Do

• Set up, operate, and monitor Cabler/Strander/Rework Line machinery according to engineering specifications and setup sheets
• Read and interpret product codes, technical documentation, and setup instructions to determine correct machine configurations and material requirements
• Perform routine adjustments and troubleshooting to maintain consistent product quality and equipment performance
• Conduct visual and dimensional quality checks throughout the production run
• Document production metrics, downtime events, and material usage as required
• Follow all safety protocols, equipment lockout procedures, and company safety guidelines consistently
• Communicate equipment issues, material needs, and production status to your supervisor and team
• Perform basic equipment maintenance and cleaning to support operational reliability
