About the Role
As an Infrastructure Technician focused on audio-visual, low voltage, access control, and surveillance technologies, you will perform the installation, configuration, and maintenance of advanced systems across diverse client environments. You'll coordinate with engineers and clients to ensure every system is deployed with precision and performs reliably in the field.
What You'll Do
- Install and configure AV systems including displays, audio equipment, and control interfaces
- Deploy and troubleshoot low voltage cabling, network infrastructure, and connectivity hardware
- Set up access control systems including card readers, door controllers, and credential management platforms
- Install and calibrate surveillance camera systems with recording equipment and monitoring infrastructure
- Test, document, and verify system functionality to meet client specifications and industry standards
- Perform ongoing maintenance and technical support to ensure optimal long-term performance
- Collaborate with project teams and clients to understand technical requirements and deliver integrated solutions
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on experience installing AV, access control, surveillance, or low voltage infrastructure
- Working knowledge of network architecture and low voltage cabling standards
- Familiarity with system integration, control platforms, and commissioning workflows
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to interpret technical schematics and follow detailed project specifications
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to client locations
