Arora Engineers is hiring an Industrial Hygienist in Chadds Ford, Delaware County, to lead workplace health and safety initiatives across our MEP, fire protection, and low voltage systems projects serving aviation, transportation, educational, and commercial facilities.
About the Role
As an Industrial Hygienist with Arora Engineers, you'll play a critical role in safeguarding employee and client health across complex project environments. This full-time position focuses on identifying workplace hazards, implementing control measures, and ensuring compliance with occupational safety and health standards across our diverse project portfolio spanning aviation, transportation, educational, and commercial sectors.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive workplace assessments to identify and evaluate health hazards in construction and design project environments
- Develop and implement practical control strategies to eliminate or minimize occupational health risks
- Monitor workplace conditions and employee exposure levels across active project sites
- Maintain detailed records and documentation of hazard assessments and corrective actions
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate health and safety practices into MEP, fire protection, alarms, and low voltage systems work
- Support compliance with federal and state occupational health regulations
- Recommend improvements to work practices, policies, and procedures based on findings
