About the Role

As an Independent Insurance Claims Adjuster for MileHigh Adjusters Houston Inc, you'll investigate insurance claims by examining police reports, medical records, and damage assessments. You'll evaluate coverage, determine liability, and calculate settlement amounts while maintaining thorough documentation and professional communication with claimants, insurers, and other parties involved in the claims process.

What You'll Do

• Inspect property damage and assess the extent of losses from accidents, theft, weather events, and other covered incidents
• Review claim applications, medical records, and supporting documentation to establish coverage and verify claim details
• Calculate settlement amounts based on policy terms, liability findings, and damage valuations
• Prepare detailed claim reports that document your investigation, findings, and recommendations
• Communicate with claimants, witnesses, medical providers, and other adjusters to gather necessary information
• Represent MileHigh Adjusters Houston Inc professionally while negotiating fair resolutions
• Maintain accurate records and meet established deadlines for claim evaluation and closure

What We're Looking For

• Valid insurance adjuster license for Washington State (or willingness to obtain one)
