The Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated and service-oriented In-Room Dining Cashier to join our team at The Hay-Adams in Washington, DC This role is integral to providing an exceptional guest experience by ensuring accurate order taking, timely delivery, and maintaining high standards of sanitation.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately take orders directly or via phone from patrons requesting In-Room Dining.
- Follow prescribed phone courtesy standards and actively sell food and beverage items using up-selling techniques.
- Provide information on all menu items, beverages, and make knowledgeable recommendations to guests.
- Input orders into the Micros system and issue a guest check for each order.
- Coordinate preparation and delivery of all orders in a timely manner.
Who We're Looking For
- A strong communicator with excellent customer service skills.
- Precise attention to detail when taking and inputting orders into the Micros system.
- The ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Familiarity with hotel operations and in-room dining procedures is preferred but not required.
