About the Role

As a Senior Highway Project Manager and Regional Team Lead at Traffic Planning and Design, Inc., you'll oversee high-impact transportation infrastructure projects and guide engineering staff through all phases of delivery. This role blends strategic project leadership with people management in one of the nation's top design firms.

What You'll Do

• Direct regional highway design and planning projects, ensuring quality standards, on-time delivery, and budget performance
• Lead and develop engineering and technical staff, building a collaborative team environment that values expertise and accountability
• Partner with clients, agencies, and stakeholders to establish project requirements and deliver comprehensive engineering solutions
• Review technical design work and specifications, maintaining compliance with industry regulations and best practices
• Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes and team performance

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 15 years of professional experience in highway design, transportation planning, or civil engineering
• Demonstrated success managing complex projects and leading technical teams to successful outcomes
• Strong work ethic, commitment to professional growth, and collaborative approach to problem-solving
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deliver results under deadline pressure
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with comfort working across all organizational levels and external partners
