WSP USA is seeking experienced High Voltage Transmission Line and/or Civil Inspectors for full-time positions based in Paradise, Clark County, Nevada. As a field-based inspector, you'll conduct critical transmission infrastructure assessments across Nevada's diverse landscapes, ensuring compliance, safety, and project integrity at the highest levels.
About the Role
This full-time, field-based opportunity places you at the heart of Nevada's transmission infrastructure. You'll travel between multiple field offices throughout the state, splitting your time between office coordination and hands-on site inspections. Your work directly impacts the reliability and safety of high-voltage systems serving the region.
What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive inspections of high-voltage transmission lines, towers, and associated infrastructure
- Perform civil inspections on construction sites and existing facilities throughout Nevada
- Document findings, deficiencies, and compliance issues through detailed field reports
- Monitor construction activities and materials against project specifications and industry standards
- Coordinate with engineering teams and project managers on inspection results and corrective actions
- Operate from multiple field offices across the state as assigned
- Maintain accurate records and photographic documentation of inspections
What We're Looking For
- Professional certification or license as a transmission line inspector and/or civil inspector (or ability to obtain)
- Proven experience inspecting high-voltage transmission systems or comparable electrical/civil infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of construction standards, safety codes, and regulatory compliance requirements
- Ability to work safely in varied field conditions and at heights when required
- Excellent written and verbal communication for clear report documentation
- Reliability and flexibility to work from different Nevada field locations
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within Nevada
