Sr. BIM Coordinator

Jacobs is hiring a Senior BIM Coordinator for our Benson, Douglas County location. In this full-time role, you will lead Building Information Modeling initiatives on premier projects ranging from semiconductor manufacturing facilities to hyperscale data center development—work that shapes critical infrastructure for our clients.

About the Role

As a Senior BIM Coordinator with Jacobs, you'll manage digital building models and drive coordination across multidisciplinary teams. Your technical leadership ensures model accuracy, enforces BIM standards, and facilitates seamless collaboration between design, engineering, and construction partners on complex, high-value projects.

What You'll Do

• Direct BIM model development, quality assurance, and coordination across all project phases
• Identify and resolve conflicts between architectural, structural, MEP, and specialty discipline models
• Establish BIM processes, standards, and protocols tailored to project requirements and client specifications
• Coach and mentor junior BIM coordinators and contribute technical insights to team leadership
• Maintain comprehensive model documentation, metadata management, and information governance
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure model-based delivery aligns with project goals and client needs

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of hands-on BIM coordination experience on large-scale industrial or infrastructure projects
• Mastery of Revit, Navisworks, and related BIM authoring and coordination software
• Demonstrated knowledge of BIM standards: LOD, COBie, IFC, and common coordination protocols
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams
• Proven track record managing multidisciplinary model coordination on complex, high-stakes projects
• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or equivalent professional background
