Head of Quality Assurance

Cytel is seeking a Head of Quality Assurance to lead quality strategy, compliance, and operational excellence from our Saint Paul, Ramsey County location. In this full-time leadership role, you'll own the quality vision and governance that supports business growth while meeting the highest regulatory and compliance standards.

About the Role

As Head of Quality Assurance, you'll shape the future of quality operations across the organization. This position combines strategic planning with operational leadership, ensuring quality excellence underpins all business objectives and regulatory requirements.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute the global Quality Assurance strategy that aligns with business expansion, regulatory expectations, and industry standards
• Build, manage, and strengthen the Quality Management System (QMS) to serve as the operational and governance foundation for quality across all functions
• Lead the organization as the senior quality voice during regulatory inspections, sponsor audits, and compliance reviews
• Modernize QA capabilities by integrating digital tools, process automation, and AI-powered solutions to enhance consistency and efficiency
• Establish quality standards, metrics, and reporting frameworks that drive continuous improvement and operational transparency
• Partner with cross-functional leadership to embed quality principles throughout product development, operations, and customer delivery

What We're Looking For

• Extensive experience leading Quality Assurance functions, ideally in regulated industries or complex organizational environments
• Deep expertise in Quality Management System design, implementation, and long-term stewardship
• Proven success navigating regulatory audits, compliance inspections, and quality transformations
• Strong knowledge of quality standards, applicable regulations, and industry best practices
• Strategic vision paired with hands-on operational discipline and meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent leadership communication and ability to influence and align stakeholders across all organizational levels
• Passion for advancing quality through technology, data-driven processes, and continuous innovation
