Join Eve as Head of Legal, leading the legal function for a fast-growing AI-powered legal technology company transforming how plaintiff law firms operate. Based in the US and reporting directly to our leadership team, you'll shape the legal strategy that enables our platform to scale while serving the legal industry's most innovative firms.

About the Role

As Head of Legal, you'll oversee all legal affairs for Eve, from corporate governance and contract management to compliance, risk mitigation, and legal strategy. This is a full-time leadership position where you'll establish and evolve our legal function, working closely with executive leadership to ensure Eve operates with integrity while navigating the unique regulatory landscape of legal technology and AI.

What You'll Do

• Lead legal strategy and compliance across all business operations, with particular focus on matters affecting legal tech and AI systems
• Manage corporate contracts, vendor agreements, and customer-facing legal terms, ensuring clarity and risk management
• Oversee data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance as Eve scales its AI-driven platform
• Advise executive leadership on legal implications of product decisions, partnerships, and market expansion
• Represent Eve in legal matters and build relationships with external counsel as needed
• Establish scalable legal processes and documentation that support rapid growth

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of legal experience, preferably including general counsel or senior in-house counsel roles at technology, legal services, or SaaS companies
• Deep knowledge of contract law, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance in technology or legal services
• Experience navigating AI, data privacy, and compliance challenges in regulated or high-stakes industries
• Demonstrated ability to build legal functions from the ground up and scale them alongside growing organizations
• Excellent judgment, communication skills, and ability to advise non-legal stakeholders clearly
• JD from an accredited law school; active bar admission required
